What's in each capsule

700mg of Mucuna pruriens, as a deliberate blend of two materials rather than one.

A 60% HPLC-standardised extract, which gives the capsule its measured, repeatable content.

A 3% standardised whole raw seed, which carries the broader phytochemical profile of the bean itself, including the plant compounds that a concentrated extract leaves behind.

Most products use one or the other. We use both, because we would rather give you the bean as well as the extract. Both materials are HPLC-tested before use and both certificates of analysis are published on our website.

Added vitamin B12 and folate, which contribute to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, with biotin and niacin, which contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

How to take it

Start with one capsule in the morning as a trial, on a relatively empty stomach, and see how you get on.

If you notice nothing, add a capsule to the morning dose and try again. Keep going in single-capsule steps until you find the amount that suits you, then stay there. The aim is to settle at the smallest amount that works for you, not to reach a particular number.

Once the first morning is right and feels great, you can space further doses through the day in the same way. 

Timing matters as much as amount. Take it around 30 to 40 minutes before something you plan to do, and keep it away from protein-rich meals, since dietary protein competes with natural L-DOPA for the same absorption route. If a day goes badly, try shifting the timing by 15 minutes before you reach for another capsule.
