How do I take MacuDopa?

Updated: Mar 18, 2024

Here are some suggestions on how to take MacuDopa at the different stages of your Parkinson's journey:

Newly diagnosed or young onset?

Always work with your GP and neurologist.

  • Consider delaying the use of medication by using MacuDopa as your main or only source of L-DOPA. This has the added benefit of a vastly reduced chance of developing dyskinesia.

Had Parkinson's for a while?

Always work with your GP and neurologist.

  • Consider using MacuDopa as a full substitute for your normal PD medicine.

  • Use MacuDopa as a top up between your regular prescribed medicine.

  • Slowly substitute MacuDopa for your regular medicine, starting with your morning dose.

The average daily intake amongst our customers is 14 capsules per day
